Хелен Сингер Каплан — доктор медицины и психологии, профессор психиатрии Медицинского Центра при Корнуэльском Госпитале, штат Нью-Йорк, основатель и директор Программы по изучению сексуальных проблем.

Она — автор множества книг, издатель журнала «Секс и семейная терапия».

Доктор Хелен Каплан неоднократно выступала с лекциями по всему миру и опубликовала много статей в профессиональных журналах, возглавляла Группу по диагностике и лечению сексуальных расстройств в Нью-Йорке, являлась одним из издателей журнала «Redbook».
